VLOG | GOWES MOBIL ODONG2 ALUN ALUN SELATAN, MIROTA YOGYAKARTA SERU ABIS !!

My Favorite band "The Used – Imaginary Enemy" Album Review

The Used HELL YEAH Despite undeniably being one of the seminal punk rock forces of the early noughties, it’s never been plain sailing for The Used . Personal heartaches and battles aside the four piece (with either line-up) seem to have struggled to make any significant waves as a band since 2004’s much revered In Love and Death and while they’ve hardly been slacking off – see 09’s Artwork and 12’s Vulnerable for proof – they fell from many peoples’ radar a long time ago. This April though, they’re back with Imaginary Enemy and with a strong whiff of revolution about it, it may just claw back some of the attention they’ve always deserved but so rarely been given. Starting the record with not only a song called Revolution  but the proclamation that “All revolutions are impossible ‘til they happen, then they become inevitable” there’s no room for doubt that the Utah quartet have a concept behind their ever-present madness this time around. A heady mix of driving guitars, pummeling dru...

Montage Of Heck Review "Kurt Cobain Documentary"

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="480"] Kurt Cobain was 2 years old[/caption] There's something surreal about watching a blond, cherubic child say, "Hi, I'm Kurt Cobain,” with a smile spread across his face. Of course years later this boy would become one of the most influential, not to mention nihilistic, musicians of the Nineties, the sandpapered voice of an apathetic generation. Using a wealth of home-video footage, audio recordings, diary entries, as well as sketches and recent interviews,  Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck  is the first authorised biographical documentary about the short, sad life of the Nirvana frontman. That writer-director Brett Morgen was given unprecedented access to the Cobain family archives – the film was executive produced by Kurt’s daughter, Frances Bean – also makes it the most intimate and comprehensive. Named after some of Cobain’s early demos, the film is told chronologically, beginning with his childhood ...

My Aria Pro II IGB 50/5 MBS

My Ibanez Ergodyne EDB 605

Features: Shame on Ibanez for discontinuing this "Luthite" model! The current EDB range is no longer made from Luthite, which is some sort of plastic compound. Ultra-tough, solid and really rugged. The finish on them is all the same. Rosewood neck with 24 frets, two awesome active pickups with 5 knobs. 1 volume, 1 pickup selector (yes a knob, not a switch), then a 3-band EQ! Sound: I used to play a lot of heavy metal, but I've since moved into more funk. The bass handles both beautifully. The pickups and the 3band EQ make almost any sound possible! I use a Gallien Krueger 700RB head, a GK 15" box. I can get sounds ranging from Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath) to Korn, and Flea from RHCP. Action, Fit & Finish: I purchased it second hand from The Bass Player (in Sydney, Aus) so it was setup perfectly. The action on this guitar is ultra-low (great for speed metal) and there is no fret buzz on the low B, unless you hit the string too hard. Ibanez know what they are do...

My Ibanez Soundgear SR 305

The bass I've purchased is not the DX model - it's the current SR305 model with the active EQ and 'Style Sweeper' control. The DX was the only choice on the list!*** Straight out of the box this was an awesome bass! Even before plugging it in it felt comfortable, natuaral and well balanced. The body is heavily sculpted, making it light and comfortable (although it can be a bit slippy when playing sitting down!). The neck is slim (almost obscenely so for a bass!), the hardware is solid and the pickups are top notch for a 'budget' bass. The finish I have is 'Iron Pewter' (which is basically gloss black with some sparkly bits in it!) and it looks as good as it sounds. It has two powerful Ibanez humbucker pickups, wired through a single volume, pickup blend, Bass/Treble split pot (with active EQ) and a 'Style Sweeper' control, that lets you adjust the bite and tone for finger or slap styles (also useful for getting a good tone with a pick). My Hofner bass (Paul Mc Cartney Signature)

This is basically an inexpensive version of the famous Paul McCartney violin bass, made by Hofner. Bought this short scale bass about a year ago. A friend had one I tried and I wanted one too. Also Thomann (in Germany) were doing a great deal which included a hard case and free postage, not bad. I assume it's made in China. Top is spruce, maple body, rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, hollow body and two staple type humbuckers. The control panel has two volume controls. There are three switches, two on/off for either pickup and rhythm/solo Switch that changes the level, same as the Club Bass; Note: Only the Hofner basses have this switching arrangement. Scale length is 30". Hardware is nickel plated and looks pretty good and the bridge is the standard floating type. The tuners are Vintage open back type with pearloid knobs, very nice. Sound: For what it is it sounds fantastic with great bottom end that is perhaps just a little hollow or resonant sounding at times. The switching arr...
